Privacy Policy

Makefanly is a global platform operationally based in Brazil. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data of creators and fans in any country, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, where applicable to users in the EU or UK, with GDPR-equivalent standards.

We collect the following data, depending on how you use Makefanly:

• Sign-up: email and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
• Public profile (creators): handle, display name, bio, profile photo.
• Payout data (creators): CPF (Brazilian tax ID, used exclusively as a Pix withdrawal key for Brazilian creators) and/or crypto wallet address (used exclusively for USDC payouts, available to creators in any country).
• Transactions: purchase history, amounts, dates and, for USDC payments, the blockchain transaction hash (public by nature of the technology).
• Uploaded content: media files (photos, videos) uploaded by creators to paylinks and posts.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and platform usage data, collected automatically for security and diagnostics.

We use the data we collect to:

• Operate your account and authenticate your access;
• Process payments and enable creator withdrawals;
• Display your public profile and content to authorized fans (who paid or hold an active subscription);
• Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations related to payments;
• Send essential communications about your account (never marketing without consent);
• Improve the platform's security and functioning.

We only share data when necessary to operate the service, with:

• Supabase (database and authentication);
• Cloudflare (media file storage and hosting);
• Vercel (application hosting);
• Partner payment institutions, to process Pix transactions and, in the future, international credit card payments;
• The Base blockchain network, for USDC payments -- on-chain transactions are public by nature and cannot be deleted or altered by us.

We do not sell personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.

As a global platform, your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States (our hosting and infrastructure providers operate globally distributed servers). When this happens, we require our vendors to adopt adequate contractual and technical safeguards to protect your data, in line with LGPD standards and, where applicable, GDPR.

We keep your data while your account is active. Financial and transaction data is kept for the period required by applicable tax and anti-money-laundering law, even after account closure. You may request deletion of other data at any time, per section 7.

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your data;
• Access the data we hold about you;
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data;
• Request portability of your data to another provider;
• Withdraw consent and request data deletion, where applicable;
• Obtain information about who we share your data with.

These rights apply to all Makefanly users under the LGPD; users in the European Union or United Kingdom hold equivalent rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacidade@makefanly.com.

Makefanly is not intended for anyone under 18, in any country. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we identify an account belonging to a minor, it will be closed and related data deleted.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including password encryption, permission-based access control (Row Level Security) in the database, and encrypted communication (HTTPS) across the platform. No system is entirely risk-free, and we work continuously to reduce risk.

We use essential cookies to keep you authenticated and remember your preferences (like language). We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.
